What is Power Automate?

Power Automate, previously named Microsoft Flow, enables users to create and automate workflows and tasks across multiple applications, without the need for technical experience. These automated workflows are called flows, and can be triggered when a specific event occurs.

As part of the Power Platform, Power Automate integrates with various Microsoft services and apps; Power BI, PowerApps, Dynamics 365 and Office 365.

Why Automate Processes?

Workforce Innovation

60% of all occupations have at least 30% technically automatable activities

Higher Productivity

Almost half of work activities have the potential to be automated using current technology

Long-Term Cost Savings

30% of businesses experience long-term cost savings as a result of automation

Benefits of Power Automate

Boost Productivity

Build time-saving workflows and boost productivity across your business

Share Data Easily

Share files easily with Power Automate by connecting apps and setting up flows

No-Code Approach

Enable everyone to build secure workflows with a no-code guided experience

What can Power Automate do?

Multistep flows

Turn repititive tasks into multistep workflows that you can customise and add one or more actions for the same trigger.

One example of this is the ability to capture a tweet, then add the person as a lead in Dynamics 365, a subscriber in Mailchimp and more.

Work securely

Prevent sensitive data from leaving your company using data loss prevention (DLP) policies.

Creating a DLP policy ensures that data is managed in a uniform manner across the organistion and prevents important data from being accidentally published to connectors such as social media sites.

Power BI Sales Dashboard

Everything you need, on one dashboard

View important figures relating to your business from one dashboard. No matter where your data lives, you can get a full view of all the key metrics and make fast responsive decisions based on these figures.

Office 365 familairity means users can connect Excel queries, data models and reports to Power BI dashboards, making it quicker and easier to gather, analyse and publish data than before.
